ThingTrack

Terms of Service

Effective 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you use ThingTrack at thingtrack.co.uk (the “Service”). If you create an account or use the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who we are

The Service is run by Prestanda Ltd t/a ThingTrack (“we”, “us”). Our address is Unit 11/12 Hall Farm, Sywell Aerodrome, Sywell, Northamptonshire, England, NN6 0BN. You can contact us at info@thingtrack.co.uk.

What the Service does

ThingTrack helps you record your spaces, containers and items, and find them again. You can add photos and print QR labels for your containers.

Your account

You sign in with a code that we email to you. There is no password. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your sign-in emails can open your ThingTrack account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

Plans and payment

Super Lite is free. Lite and Pro are paid plans. The price of each plan and its limits are shown on our home page.

Paid plans renew every month. Stripe takes the payment on our behalf. We never see your card details. Your plan renews on the same day each month until you cancel it.

We may change our prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. If you do not want the new price, you can cancel before it starts.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Use “Manage billing” in your settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for. After that, you move to Super Lite. We do not charge you again.

If you cancel within 14 days of the day you first subscribed, we will refund that first payment in full. After 14 days, we do not refund part of a month that you have already paid for. This does not limit any right that the law gives you.

To ask for a refund, email info@thingtrack.co.uk from the address you signed up with.

Your content

Your content is what you record in ThingTrack: names, descriptions and photos. It stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to you. We need this to run the Service. We do not use your content for anything else. How we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your content. Do not upload anything that is illegal, or that you have no right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not do any of the following.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us.

Keeping your records

We back up our database every day. A backup is for our use if something goes wrong. It is not a way for you to get your data back. We do not have a button to export your data yet. If you need a copy, email us and we will send it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change the Service, or stop it. If we stop it, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund any month that you have paid for and cannot use.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits any right that you have under the law. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that we could not have foreseen, for loss of business or profit, or for loss of data that you had the chance to keep a copy of. Our total liability to you for any one claim is limited to the amount that you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

ThingTrack records what you tell it. It does not check that your records are correct. Do not rely on it as the only record of something that would cause serious harm if you lost it.

Closing your account

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and its contents, email info@thingtrack.co.uk. We will do it by hand. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first, because deleting your account does not cancel it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies.

Law and disputes

The law of England and Wales applies to these terms. The courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use the courts where you live. Please contact us first so that we can try to put things right.
